These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the imanii church management platform, including our website, web application and related services ("imanii", "the Service"), provided by imanii ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Overview

imanii helps churches remember people, respond with care and coordinate ministry throughout the week. The Service includes tools for managing people and households, visitor follow-up, ministry teams, events and attendance, communication, forms and giving.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use imanii. If you use the Service on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

You agree to provide accurate information when you create an account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

3.2 Roles and Access

Church administrators decide who on their team can access which parts of imanii through roles and permissions. Your church is responsible for:

• Granting access only to people who need it
• Reviewing and removing access when someone leaves a role or the church
• Making sure the people it invites comply with these Terms

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Plans

imanii is offered on three plans:

• Essential — A free plan to organize people and follow-up in one place, with limits on the number of people you can store.
• Ministry — A paid plan for growing churches coordinating care across teams, with higher capacity and additional features.
• Church — A custom plan for larger or multi-location churches. Contact us for terms and pricing.

4.2 Billing and Renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the option you choose. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

4.3 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the Essential plan.

4.4 Refunds

Fees already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we state otherwise. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@imanii.com and we will review your request.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change our prices from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice before a price change takes effect on your subscription, and you may cancel before it does.

4.6 Free Plan Limitations

The Essential plan is provided as-is and is subject to usage limits. We may adjust these limits and may suspend accounts that exceed them until they are brought back within the limits or upgraded.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Payment Processors

Payments, including subscription fees and donations collected through giving forms and payment links, are handled by third-party payment processors. Your use of those services is also subject to the processor's own terms.

5.2 Communication Providers

Emails, messages and other communications sent through imanii are delivered using third-party providers. You are responsible for the content you send and for having the right to contact the people you message.

6. Your Content

6.1 Your Content

You keep ownership of everything you put into imanii, including member records, notes, events, forms and messages ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

6.2 Member and Donor Data

Your church decides what information it collects about its members, visitors and donors, and why. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that information, for informing people how it is used, and for complying with the data protection laws that apply to your church.

6.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for Your Content. We do not review it in advance and are not responsible for its accuracy, legality or appropriateness.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The Service, including its software, design, text and trademarks, is owned by imanii and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any right to it except the limited right to use the Service.

7.2 Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose
• Access accounts, data or parts of the Service you are not authorized to use
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service without our written permission
• Upload malicious code or attempt to bypass security or usage limits

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMANII WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold imanii harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account poses a security risk, or if we stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we will give you notice first.

12.3 Effect of Termination

When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends. You may request an export of Your Content before closing your account. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Updates and Changes

13.1 Service Updates

We continually improve imanii and may add, change or remove features. We'll let you know about changes that materially affect how you use the service.

13.2 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or within the Service. Continuing to use imanii after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information. By using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which imanii is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15.2 Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in full effect.

15.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and imanii regarding the Service.
