Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 19, 2026 Last Updated: October 17, 2026
imanii ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share information when you use the imanii church management platform ("the Service").
By using imanii, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account or use the Service, you may provide:
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password
- Church details: your church's name, location, size and other profile information
- Payment details: billing information, which is handled by our payment processors
- Support requests: messages you send to us and any files you attach
1.2 Information About Your Members
Churches use imanii to store information about their own members, visitors and donors, such as contact details, household relationships, attendance, notes and giving history. Your church controls this information and decides what to collect. For this data, your church is the controller and imanii acts as its service provider.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- Device and browser type, and operating system
- IP address and approximate location
- Pages viewed, features used and the date and time of use
Product analytics is provided by PostHog and only runs after you accept it. You can decline without losing any functionality, and nothing is collected before you make a choice.
1.4 Cookies and Analytics
Our public website asks before setting analytics cookies. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to measure visits and which pages are useful; Google receives your browser details, pages viewed and a shortened IP address. We do not use advertising cookies. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the website footer.
Essential cookies that keep you signed in and protect forms from misuse are always set, because the Service cannot work without them.
1.5 Information From Third-Party Services
If you connect a third-party service to imanii, such as a payment processor, we receive the information needed to make that connection work. Those services have their own privacy policies.
